BSG is excited to introduce you to the newest members of our team.

Adam Foster - Analyst

He is passionate about identifying and creating actionable insights to solve real-world problems for clients. Before joining BSG, he worked with the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in public relations and worked with the University International Relations Department on research initiatives, including China’s political influence on elections in the South Pacific and Taiwan, and the monetary ecosystem of the Libyan Refugee Crisis. Outside of research, he has experience in advocacy and policy advising for an Eritrean human rights group, as well as a history of lobbying on behalf of education reform in his home state of New Mexico. In his free time, he enjoys reading, skiing, and ballroom dancing.

Kathleen Hanley - Analyst

Kathleen holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication and a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Southern California. As an MPP, she focused primarily on electoral and social policy. She is a self-proclaimed policy wonk! Before joining BSG, she worked on local, state, and national political campaigns where she found a passion for democratic reforms. She later worked on efforts to empower voters and eliminate gerrymandering, advocating for fair congressional and legislative maps in states across the U.S. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Kathleen grew up in the wine country of Northern California. In her free time, she enjoys doing yoga, going to the movies, and watching sports.
